This list is helpful for families whose student will be entering their first year.

- Join the Official Husson University Family Group
- Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) – the first step in applying for financial aid.
Because of significant Department of Education processing delays, we will not have information about FAFSA submissions or financial aid until at least the beginning of March. Once FAFSA data is released to us, we are committed to sharing financial aid information as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.
- Visit campus through a tour or event.
- Submit the tuition deposit.
- Register for New Student Orientation in June.
- Student activates their Husson network and email account.
- Student takes the math assessment. Notification will be emailed to your student starting in May.
- The deadline to submit required documents for financial aid is June 17, 2024.
- Review and sign up for a tuition payment plan (if needed).
- Apply for housing. All full-time, first- and second-year Husson University undergraduate students must live in the campus residence halls
- Choose a dining plan.
- Download and install the EagleSafe app for instant access to Safety & Security, campus information and resources, and notifications about emergencies or weather closings.
- Learn about FERPA.
- Students access the student portal to view billing statements, make payments, upload important documents and immunization records, process insurance waiver.
- Tuition Bills due by August 1, 2024: All account balances (tuition, fees, room & board, etc.) minus any pending financial aid are due in full for the Fall semester.
- Review the packing list.
- Complete the Student Health Insurance Waiver and immunization records by September 10, 2024. All students are required to have health insurance.
- First-time student borrowers of federal loans must complete a Loan Agreement and Entrance Counseling.
- Student registers car for parking on campus. (It’s free!)
