Students choosing to enter as a freshman into year one of the program will be awarded a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science degree at the completion of the fourth-year course requirements.

During the first three years, the pre-professional phase courses in the arts and sciences fulfill Husson’s general education requirement and prepare the students for the three-year professional phase of the program.

During the three-year professional phase of the program, students take a wide variety of applied science and clinical practice courses. Students enrolled in the professional phase will be required to complete three clinical affiliations, some scheduled over the summer months. When all professional phase requirements are met, students receive a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
