The online Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program is a 48-credit, 540 internship-hour program that prepares graduates to deliver comprehensive advanced nursing care to acutely ill young adults, older adults and the elderly. Graduates are eligible to sit for the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) certification exam as Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Adult Gerontology.
The online Family Nurse Practitioner track is a 48-credit, 540 clinical-hour program that prepares students to deliver expert and compassionate care to individuals and families in a primary care setting. The curriculum ensures graduates are ready to work with patients across the lifespan and with traditional, nontraditional and culturally diverse families. Graduates are eligible to sit for the ANCC or AANP Family Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam.
Our online Post-Graduate APRN Certificate programs are designed for registered nurses with BSN and MSN degrees seeking to develop the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to practice in another area of Advanced Practice Nursing. There are three track options: Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Students will engage in clinical experiences that match their specialty area.
The online Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner track is a 51-credit, 540 clinical-hour program that prepares students to deliver high-quality mental health care to patients from pediatric to geriatric age. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner ANCC Certification Examination.
