Biography
Adam Crowley received his B.A. and M.A. in English from the University of Maine and his Ph.D. in English from the University of New Brunswick. His latest book, The Wealth of Virtual Nations: Videogame Currencies (2017) argues that videogames have contributed to modern life by dramatizing the economic anxieties of our age — in particular, those anxieties that relate to the Global Great Recession. Dr. Crowley is the Director of Composition at Husson University. He teaches courses in the Writing Program, as well as courses in American, British, and Canadian literature. He is an active member within the Popular Culture Association, and holds several area chair positions within the organization's regional divisions, including Computer Culture, Politics, and Storytelling.
