Biography
Katey Howland received Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New England in 2001 and her Doctor of Education from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2021. She specializes in acute care occupational therapy and has worked in both small and large medical centers both in Maine and New Hampshire. She joined Husson University in summer of 2014 as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, and is now an Assistant Professor teaching adult rehabilitation, advanced neurorehabilitation and research courses. Her teaching involves active learning, simulation based learning, and interprofessional education.
