Theresa Ayotte has been a professional graphic designer for over 25 years. It was her love of fine arts that led her to study graphic design at Kansas State University. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Design at K-State and then moved back to Maine where she began her career as a designer at a small print shop. There she learned a great deal about the printing industry. She soon outgrew that job and went on to become a lead designer and later Art Director at a well-known advertising agency in the Bangor, Maine area. In 1996, Theresa decided to launch Terelar Design & Photography, her own graphic design and commercial photography firm. She continues to provide graphic design services for a diverse set of clients in education, food and beverage, tourism, and numerous other professional services. Additionally, she is the Creative Director of Graphic Design at Liquid Spark Marketing, a virtual ad agency whose clients span across the United States and Central and South America. Theresa has a Master of Arts in Graphic Design and Visual Experience from Savannah College of Art and Design and has been teaching graphic design courses at Husson University since 2007. During that time, she has grown the graphic design offerings at the New England School of Communications at Husson University from a single course to the BS in Graphic/Visual Design. Theresa truly enjoys sharing her life’s passion with her students.
