HUSOP Academy of Student Pharmacists Wins National Recognition

The Husson University School of Pharmacy chapter of the Academy of Student Pharmacists (ASP) received the "2011-2012 Up-and-Coming Chapter Award" at the closing awards ceremony of the American Pharmacists' Association/Academy of Student Pharmacists national meeting on March 4th in Los Angeles.

Of the 129 student chapters in the country, Husson was recognized as a 'rising-star' for the chapter's innovative work in community outreach, patient care projects and inter-professional networking during the 2011-2012 academic year.

Selection of awards is based on chapter reports submitted to the national office in July of the previous year for work completed in the past academic year.
