Husson University welcomed new international students to campus during its International New Student Welcome Reception on Wednesday, Aug. 21. The 28 new students — an increase of 18 from the previous year — hail from 17 different countries and will join 10 different degree programs.
The reception, which took place in the Webber Campus Center, featured a warm welcome from President Lynne Coy-Ogan and a buffet filled with some of the Dickerman Dining Center's most popular food items. The event kicked off three days of orientation for the students prior to Eagle Week and serves to help them adjust to living and going to school in a new country.
