Healthcare Simulation Week 2024 is underway at Husson with a series of outreach activities designed to inform the campus community and supporters about simulation at Husson. 

At Husson University, professors are deeply committed to experiential learning, a principle that profoundly enhances the students' education and learning experience. The Husson Simulation Education Center utilizes advanced technology to give students a hands-on experience before working with real patients. 

These activities can be found in the schedule seen below, including the Simulation Experience on Friday from 11am-3pm.

Sept. 18 | 11am-12pm — Video Presentation: Reaching Forward

Sept. 19 | 10am-2:30pm — Say Hi to Simulation Tabling
Location: Webber Campus Center in O’Donnell Commons

Visit with representatives from the Simulation Education Center and enjoy cupcakes, a video overview of simulation and vote for your favorite name for HAL, Husson’s AI manikin.

Sept. 20 — 11am-3pm — Experience Simulation Activity
Location: Simulation Education Center in the Wellness Center

Try a simulation like our students do! The 30-minute simulation with our manikins will be done in small groups. Registration is required as space is limited.
