Husson University To Celebrate Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 19

Husson University will celebrate Homecoming on campus on Saturday, Oct. 19.

This year’s homecoming will include a Tailgating Decoration Competition and Tailgating Food Competition as well as a carnival run by student clubs and organizations, a meet and greet with Husson President Lynne Coy-Ogan and more.

The fun begins at 10:30am and continues until kickoff of the Husson football game against Nichols College at 2:30pm at the Dr. John W. Winkin Sports Complex. During the carnival, there will be a bounce house, cotton candy, popcorn, face painting, games and prizes. Raffle prizes will be drawn every hour.

Judging for the competitions will take place between 12pm and 1pm with the winners announced by President Coy-Ogan at 1pm.

In addition to the football game, there is also a volleyball game against Lesley University in the William P. Newman Gymnasium at 12pm. Husson Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving have their Fourth Annual Relay Meet at Webber Pool on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 12pm.

Saturday’s festivities conclude with An Evening with Syndee Winters: Beyond Broadway at the Gracie Theatre at 7:30pm.
