The workshops are aimed at offering support to students to complete their portion of the FAFSA. Experts from the Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) will attend to provide guidance and answer questions.

These sessions are free and open to the public. Students who are pursuing higher education in Fall 2025 are highly encouraged to attend.

Students are asked to bring their laptop, ID, and FAFSA login (StudentAid.gov login and pin). Please note, those who attend should create their own Federal Student Aid accounts at StudentAid.gov at least three days prior to the event.

Both workshops will occur on Husson University’s campus in Bangor, with the first taking place on Tuesday, Jan. 28 from 6:30pm to 7:30 pm in 226 Peabody Hall, and the second on Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 12pm to 1 pm in the Furman Student Center. Pizza and beverages will be available.

Students interested in attending either of these workshops can register via Husson’s online registration form. For more information about these events or registration, please email Kristin Tripp, director for Title III at Husson University, at trippkr@husson.edu or 207.973.1022.
