Accessibility Services is located in 201 Peabody Hall and is part of the Center for Student Success. Accessible parking and entrances are available at multiple entrances to Peabody Hall. 

Accessibility Services at Husson University

• works individually with students with disabilities
• certifies eligibility and coordinates accommodations 
• offers one-on-one success coaching 
• provides support with using assistive technology 
• provides disability-related support and resources
• provides temporary accommodations
• provides accommodations needed due to pregnancy 

Mission Statement

As part of Husson University’s Center for Student Success, Accessibility Services is committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and equal access to students with disabilities. Husson University complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Maine Human Rights Act by ensuring that no qualified student should be denied the benefit of services, programs and activities, or excluded from participation on the basis of disability. Through a variety of services, this office is available to advocate and establish accommodation plans on behalf of students with disabilities, while supporting the greater academic community in fulfilling student access needs.
