1. How much money can I make to start?
If your point average is respectable, you are likely to start at between $35,000 and $55,000.

2. What kind of a job can I get?
One of the great things about a degree in Business Administration is that so many different types of jobs are available to you. Perhaps you don't know, for sure, what you want to do. Have no fear. There is very likely a position "out there" suited to your interests and abilities. A degree in Business Administration gives you great flexibility. More than 90% of our graduates get good jobs within six months of graduation, if they have a respectable point average.

3. Where will I be 10 years from now?
Probably a mid-level or high-level executive in a mid-size or large organization, or you will own your own business.

4. Will I get personal attention at Husson?
Classes are small. You will also have a faculty advisor who knows who you are and who will work closely with you. The faculty at Husson emphasize teaching, and they will provide as much time as you need to assure you are successful in their courses.

5. What if I decide I do not like the program I have chosen?
At Husson you can switch programs with no or very little loss of credits earned up through the second and, in many cases, even third years. You will take courses in a number of fields within business in the first two years. You can use this experience to help you choose what area you really want to get your degree in.

6. What preparation do I need in high school?
Pay attention to your math and English. The more you have of both these subjects, the better.

7. Will I be able to work while going to Husson?
Yes. Many students have part time jobs and carry full course loads. You will have to decide how much time you can spend on a job, which will be above and beyond your classes and homework. The main thing is to do well in your classes. You may choose to pursue an internship at Husson, in which case you can work at a job, get paid, and get academic credit for it all. We try hard to arrange your class schedule around any employment you might have.

8. How much will I have to study outside of class?
Two to three hours out of class for each hour in class is a very rough guide. It varies so much from student to student. Some will want to spend more than this'Äîsome less. It also depends heavily on the particular course. Some courses require a lot more homework than others.

9. What subjects will I take?
You will take five different classes each semester. In the first semester most students take Algebra, English, Introduction to Business, Micro-computing and Psychology. In the second semester one would typically take, Legal Environment of Business, Speech, Finite Math, Literature, and History. After that you take largely business oriented courses in management, finance, marketing, economics, and so on.

10. How much time will I spend in class each week?
About 15 hours. The typical student spends three hours in three different classes which run Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and then three hours in two other classes which run Tuesdays and Thursdays.

11. Will I be able to do an internship?
About 25% of our students take one or more internships. Each internship is worth 3 credits toward the 120 credits required for graduation. Often internships lead to jobs after graduation.
