Simulation Technician

A Simulation Tech the main responsibilities include operating simulation scenarios and ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition before the simulations start. Additionally, it is important to establish effective workflows and maintain a tidy learning environment. This involves managing the facilities, including setting up and cleaning up the simulation rooms and ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available for teaching sessions.

Another critical aspect of the role is inventory management. This includes identifying needed equipment and supplies, keeping track of inventory changes, and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise. Additionally, the center's scheduling system must be managed efficiently to ensure optimal use of space for training sessions, workshops, and other activities.

To be successful in this role, it is essential to maintain knowledge and expertise in healthcare equipment and emerging simulation technologies. The Simulation Tech must work closely with the advanced practice faculty and leadership to coordinate simulation events and provide technical support for computer-based multimedia systems and their components.
