NESCom Productions

VideoProduction.jpgBridging the gap between Husson University’s experiential learning and our partners in the strategic nonprofit partners, NESCom Productions provides services including video production, live sound reinforcement, event streaming services, and editing.

NESCom Productions provides audio and video production services to internal Husson University clients as well as community partners throughout the state of Maine. With guidance from faculty and staff mentors, students gain additional experience beyond curriculum to further refine the marketable skills necessary to enter the workforce while the services provided create opportunities that otherwise would not be attainable for many of the clients. No-cost services to the greater Husson University community allows for a greater distribution of critical information and low-cost services to strategic partners highlight everything from criminal justice employment opportunities to non-profit assistance for low-income Maine families.

Video-Production2.jpgSince its creation, NESCom Productions has provided services for Husson Athletics, Admissions, Advancement, HR, Safety & Security, the Gracie Theatre and more than 75 other clients.

Requests for work are evaluated before the start of each semester. Each proposed project is reviewed to ensure student educational outcomes are being met and client needs can be fulfilled.

Students in their sophomore, junior, or senior year can apply to be a part of NESCom Productions and work a series of events and projects hand-picked by faculty, based on their availability and skill level.
