Husson University is smoke-free tobacco-free as of September 2014. If you are interested in quitting, there are a number of resources available on and off campus.
Quitting smoking is hard. We encourage you to walk-in or make an appointment if you would like to talk to a healthcare professional about smoking cessation, including cessation counseling, nicotine replacement drugs, and prescription and non-prescription drugs.
Here are additional resources:
Alcohol & Other Drugs:
- Phoenix House
- College Drinking-Changing the Culture
- Portland Central Service Office of Alcoholics Anonymous
If you want information about the new smoking and tobacco policy at Husson, visit the homepage for the new initiative for more details.
