Mid Fidelity Manikins

Nursing Anne - Mid-Fidelity “Skills Lab Anne”
Anne is a mid-fidelity manikin made by Laerdal and used for training. This manikin is one of the most basic and is usually the first one students train on. They can take the manikin vital signs, practice, and enhance their clinical skills. You can generally find a group of Skills Lab Anne’s gathered at Marshall Road, waiting for students to practice on them. Anne stays at Marshall Road Facilities.

Nursing Kelly “Kel”
Kel is a Laerdal manikin who resides in Marshall Road's Skills Lab with our Anne’s. He is a mid-fidelity model that allows students to practice and learn basic skills such as auscultation of heart, lung, and bowel sounds. During the summer, Kel enjoys his peace while the Annes are calm, and the weather is good as he resides at Marshall Road, too.

CAE Manikins

Juno “Uncle Juno”
We have two CAE manikins, Juno, in our lab in Commons Lab 217. Juno is a mid-fidelity simulator designed for extensive training in our skills lab. Students can practice numerous skills such as tracheostomy, ostomy, oral care, and even auscultating the manikin to listen to heart and lung sounds. What's more impressive is that students can train on Juno, using all the unique features for a more realistic experience.
